On July 12, 2026, Source of Life Church in Anderson, South Carolina, celebrated a joyful and significant milestone as Alexander Jonik and Vitaliy Berkash were ordained to the office of deacon.
This was a truly special day for our church family. For the past five years, the Lord has been faithfully building Source of Life Church, and this first ordination of church leaders stands as another testimony of His faithfulness, loving care, and abundant blessing.
We were honored to welcome Alexander B. Pronin, President of the Pacific Coast Slavic Baptist Association, and Pastor Ivan Mileev, who joined us for this special occasion and participated in the ordination service. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who was able to be with us, encourage our congregation, pray with us, and bless these new deacons as they begin this important ministry.
The worship service was filled with joy, peace, love, and heartfelt gratitude to the Lord. It was especially encouraging to witness the unity of God's people and to see how the Lord continues to guide and strengthen His Church.
Following the service, everyone enjoyed a fellowship meal, sharing warm conversations and celebrating together the blessings of this memorable day.
We thank the Lord with all our hearts for His mercy, for raising up new servants, and for continuing to build His Church. May He continue to bless Source of Life Church, strengthen it in love and unity, and be glorified through the ministry of this local congregation.
